Finding the Right Supplement for Your Dog

Joint pain is a common problem for older dogs everywhere. Joint pain can be caused by so many things, but regardless of whether your dog’s pain comes from aging or arthritis, it’s not easy to see your dog in pain. One of the best ways to ease your dog’s pain and help them to be their bouncy, active self once again is by finding a good joint supplement for dogs. Unfortunately, finding the right supplement for your dog is easier said than done, because not all joint supplements are made equal.

Many of the traditional supplements that have been relied upon in the past just don’t cut it. They contain Steroids and other ingredients that are designed to alleviate pain, but really all they do is put a band-aid on the problem. Now, there are supplements that more effective than ever at not only treating the pain, but also helping to rebuild cartilage and reverse some of the damage.

When you are looking for the right joint supplement for your dog there are a few ingredients that you should look for. Keep an eye out for Glucosamine, Chondrotin Sulfate and Hyaluronic Acid. All of these ingredients have been proven to get results, and you shouldn’t give your dog a supplement that doesn’t contain at least two of them.


It is so difficult to see your dog in pain, but don’t just settle for any joint supplement to correct the problem. Give them something that is not only effective at relieving their pain, but also rebuilding their cartilage!
